NexTherma helps businesses take control of how energy is generated, stored and used.
We bring together renewable power, batteries, thermal storage, heating, cooling and operational demand through integrated engineering and coordinated control.
Generation includes solar, wind, hydro, biofuel, the grid and generators. Storage includes batteries, pumped hydro, ice, ground, hot water, concrete, rocks, molten salt and sand. Distribution covers electrical, heating and cooling networks. Uses include buildings, data centres, factories, industrial processes and flexible loads.
Independent engineering. One operating strategy across your energy system.
We connect the design of your energy infrastructure with the way your business operates.
01
Design the complete system.
We consider electricity, heating, cooling, storage and operational demand together.
Equipment selection, capacity and control strategy are developed around the needs of the complete site. This helps identify opportunities to manage peaks, reduce unnecessary capacity and improve overall performance.
02
Combine electrical and thermal storage.
Batteries store electricity. Thermal storage keeps heat or cooling available for later use.
We assess where each form of storage adds value. Where suitable, combining them can reduce the burden on batteries and shift heating or cooling demand to periods when energy is more affordable or renewable generation is available.
03
Control around your operations.
Your energy strategy must work with your business.
We develop control logic around production schedules, temperature requirements, essential loads and equipment limits. Generation, storage and flexible demand are coordinated to support daily operations.
DESIGNED AROUND YOUR BUSINESS
Better energy. Stronger operations.
The result: energy systems designed around your business, with lower lifetime costs, greater resilience and reduced emissions.
Lower energy costs
Use the most suitable combination of generation, storage and flexible demand to reduce energy expenditure over the project’s life.
Greater operational resilience
Coordinate available energy sources, storage and essential loads around your site’s reliability requirements.
Lower emissions
Increase renewable energy use and improve the efficiency of electricity, heating and cooling systems.
SOLUTIONS
One operating strategy for your energy system.
Every site has a different combination of energy needs, equipment and operating constraints. NexTherma designs the system around those conditions and brings its components together through coordinated control.
HYBRID POWER SYSTEMS
Power that works as one system.
Integrate solar generation, battery storage, generators and the grid into a coherent power system.
We assess capacity, energy flows and operating modes so that each resource has a defined role in meeting demand, controlling costs and maintaining supply.
Applications include renewable self-consumption, peak demand management and operation during grid interruptions.
Make heating and cooling part of your energy strategy.
We integrate chillers, heat pumps, boilers, heat recovery and thermal storage with the wider site energy system. Storage can take the form of ice, chilled water or stored heat, depending on the application.
This allows suitable thermal demand to move between operating periods while maintaining required temperatures and service levels.
Understand whether your system is delivering its intended performance.
We monitor energy flows, equipment behaviour and operating results against the design basis. This helps identify underperformance, guide corrective action and refine the operating strategy as site conditions change.
Establish how your site consumes energy and where improvements can create value.
Our assessments consider electricity, heating, cooling, operating schedules and existing infrastructure. We develop a technical basis for investment decisions, including suitable system configurations, expected energy performance and project risks.
02Integrated infrastructure design
Define what to build and how it should operate.
We develop system configurations, equipment requirements, energy flows and operating philosophies across electrical and thermal infrastructure. The design considers both individual equipment performance and the behaviour of the complete system.
03Control systems and SCADA
Turn the operating strategy into a working control system.
Our scope includes control architecture, functional specifications, automation logic, equipment interfaces and SCADA—the supervisory platform used to monitor and operate the installation.
Operator screens, alarms and reporting are designed around the information your team needs to manage the site.
04Owner’s engineering and delivery support
Maintain technical clarity throughout procurement and construction.
We support specification development, supplier evaluation, design reviews and coordination with contractors and technology providers. Our role is to help preserve the project’s design intent as it moves into delivery.
05Testing, commissioning and training
Verify that the integrated system operates as intended.
We develop and execute commissioning procedures, test operating modes and failure responses, and support the handover to your operating team.
Training covers normal operation, alarms, performance monitoring and the actions required when conditions change.
06Ongoing technical support
Keep the system aligned with your business.
We provide monitoring, troubleshooting and optimisation support as equipment performance, tariffs, demand and operating schedules evolve.
Shopping centres, hotels, offices and other facilities with significant electricity and cooling demand.
We coordinate renewable generation, storage and building services around occupancy, comfort and operating schedules.
02
Industrial facilities
Manufacturing sites with interconnected electricity, heating, cooling and process requirements.
We assess utilities and production demand together, including opportunities for heat recovery, thermal storage, electrification and operational flexibility.
03
Developments & district energy
Industrial parks, mixed-use developments and sites sharing energy infrastructure.
We support the design and control of shared power, heating and cooling systems, with attention to phased development and changing demand.
04
Renewable energy & utility projects
Solar and storage projects requiring coordinated plant operation, supervisory control and performance visibility.
We provide control engineering, SCADA integration and technical oversight across the project lifecycle.
05
Data centres & critical facilities
Sites where power availability and cooling performance are closely connected.
We assess these systems together, with operating strategies built around continuity, equipment constraints and critical demand.
ABOUT US
About NexTherma.
Based in Mauritius.
NexTherma is an independent engineering and control company based in Mauritius, helping businesses improve energy affordability, reliability and environmental performance.
We bring together renewable generation, electrical and thermal storage, heating, cooling and operational demand through coordinated design and control.
Our work spans feasibility, engineering, commissioning and ongoing performance monitoring, in collaboration with technology providers and delivery partners.
This integrated approach grew from a practical industrial energy challenge faced by our founder, Faddil Mosaheb.

THE STORY BEHIND NEXTHERMA
Our founder’s story
My career began close to factory operations, working on automation, utilities and the systems that keep production running.
Over time, my work expanded into energy management, heat recovery, steam systems and industrial monitoring. These projects taught me to look closely at how energy is used throughout a facility, and how control decisions affect both cost and performance.
The turning point came while developing the energy system for a new industrial park in Mauritius.
The site needed dependable power and cooling to support its operations. The challenge brought together solar generation, battery storage, thermal storage, chillers and building services within one coordinated system.
My involvement covered design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning. Making those elements work together required an understanding of both the equipment and the operations they served.
That experience shaped the idea behind NexTherma.
I founded the company to bring this integrated approach to other businesses: understand their operations, design the right energy infrastructure and coordinate how it performs every day.
Today, NexTherma combines my direct involvement with specialist technology and delivery partners selected around each project’s needs.
We welcome discussions with technology providers, delivery partners, developers and energy service companies seeking engineering and control expertise for integrated energy projects.
